Music fans who love an eclectic mix of R&B, rap, and rock should be thanking recording label, Mind of Genius, for bringing forward a new duo into our music library. They., composed of vocalist Drew Love and producer, Dante Jones, have a refreshing vibe of Indie-Rock and R&B which will have you entranced by their futuristic feel good sound. The duo has an expansive repertoire¬†as individuals and just hit the mark when they opened up for Bryson Tiller’s Trapsoul Tour this winter.

Their EP, Nu Religion (listen below) is only 3 songs long but showcases the versatility They. has the potential to produce with every single. “Motley Crue”, which is a fast paced hit heavily based in rock kick starts the EP, shortly followed by “Back it up”, a deep based and lusty production geared to an ambient/R&B vibe, then closed off by “Bad Habits” which focuses on highlighting Love’s powerful vocals. We’re obsessing over the LA based group and can’t wait till they have a chance to take their place on the throne.
